JIM “POLITICAL OPPORTUNIST” MARTIN FLIP-FLOPS ON FINANCIAL RESCUE PACKAGE

Looks like Jim “Political Opportunist” Martin finally pulled his head out of the sand just long enough to declare that maybe he was wrong and Saxby was right about helping Georgians during this difficult economic time!

ü For weeks, Martin has criticized Saxby and the financial rescue package adopted by Congress…
o Jim Martin told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that he was “very disappointed” in Chambliss’ vote for another “typical Washington solution.”

ü BUT now, it seems Jim Martin has had a change of heart!
o “In a conference call Tuesday with Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va. – who voted for the plan – and reporters, Martin said it was needed…’Obviously, something needed to be done,’ the former state representative said…”

Wait a second, Jim. So now are you saying that Saxby’s vote for the financial rescue plan was the right thing to do???
